The New Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35: Redefining Off-Road Capability in 2025

Isuzu UK has officially launched the latest evolution of its iconic extreme pick-up: the New Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35. The grand unveiling took place at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2025, held at the NEC in Birmingham, where it immediately captured attention for its bold presence, rugged capability, and refined technology.

Built on the newly introduced D-Max platform, the AT35 represents the ultimate fusion of off-road performance, commercial durability, and modern driving refinement—making it the ideal companion for professionals and adventurers alike.

Engineered for Extremes: Built to Go Beyond

Co-developed with Arctic Trucks, the world-renowned specialist in building vehicles for extreme environments, the new AT35 remains true to its legendary roots. With over 30 years of Arctic Trucks engineering heritage, the D-Max AT35 is purpose-built for the most challenging terrains.

Under the bonnet, the proven 1.9-litre turbo diesel engine delivers 360 Nm of torque, providing powerful driveability in both on- and off-road conditions. The AT35 continues to hold full commercial vehicle status, offering a payload capacity of over 1 tonne and a towing capacity of 3.5 tonnes.

New for 2025, the AT35 includes Rough Terrain Mode as standard—intelligently improving grip across slippery surfaces like snow, mud, and wet grass. Combined with shift-on-the-fly 4WD, a rear differential lock, and a robust chassis, it’s more than capable of tackling the toughest environments.

Bold, Rugged Design: A Dominating Presence

Visually, the Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 stands taller, wider, and more assertive than ever. Its custom Arctic Trucks Bilstein suspension boosts ground clearance and allows for impressive approach, ramp, and breakover angles (35°, 22°, and 34°, respectively), making it a force to be reckoned with on the trails.

Its aggressive styling is backed by 35” BF Goodrich all-terrain tyres, dramatically flared wheel arches, and signature Arctic Trucks extended-profile side steps with heavy-duty rubber treads. Added functionality like roof rails, a rear multifunction receiver, and side step branding elevate its capability and off-road image.
